Surveying Student Interest in eBikes Program
Throughout the month of May, 2021, we sent out a survey to Carlmont High School students to survey current transportation statistics, and to gauge the general interest in the eBikes program.

Preliminary Conclusions Based on the Survey Results
A large majority of students can adequately charge and store eBikes
Students are ready for change, even without any influence or incentives
Main issue is the perceived safety of eBike travel
​A massive amount of time and miles is spent by Carlmont students and parents traveling around Belmont
Shifting 25% of emissions away from cars would have immediate, dramatic benefits for time spent traveling, congestion, and CO2 emissions
